I’ve been using the X-Sight 5 3-15x scope for a bit now, and I have to say, it’s one heck of a tool for hunting. From dawn till dark, this scope’s got me covered. The biggest standout for me is the night vision—this thing can hit a target in total darkness up to 500 yards! That’s a game changer when you’re out after hogs or coyotes. During the day, it’s just as clear, letting me spot targets as far as 1000 yards out. Another thing that’s mighty handy is the Recoil Activated Video. No need to mess with the camera when the action’s happening fast. I’ve captured some great hunting moments without even thinking about it. Plus, I’m not wasting time or ammo with its One Shot Zero feature—it’s simple and gets you dialed in fast. The scope’s light on power, which means I can hunt all day without worrying about the battery. And that custom reticle option? Love it. I can tweak things just the way I like ‘em for different conditions. If you’re looking for a reliable, clear, and smart scope, this one’s worth every penny. Just got back from a hog hunt at my buddy’s farm, and I had the chance to put the X-Sight 5 3-15x scope through its paces. This thing is a real game-changer. We were tracking hogs no more than 200 yards out, and the clarity and precision were absolutely top-notch, both during the day and at night. The day-to-night transition capabilities are seriously impressive. As dusk settled in, I didn’t have to swap out equipment or mess with any settings—the scope adjusted seamlessly, and the image stayed crystal clear. The smooth zoom made it a breeze to zero in on targets without any lag or jerkiness. One feature I really loved was the comfortable eye relief. With 90mm, I didn’t have to worry about getting too close and risking a scope bite from recoil. Speaking of recoil, the Recoil Activated Video (RAV) feature was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t have to fiddle with hitting the record button; the scope automatically captured the moments before and after each shot. Now I’ve got some great footage to share with friends and family. The built-in ballistic calculator came in handy more than once. After inputting my ammo details and the weather conditions, it helped me adjust my aim with precision. Battery life is solid, too. We were out there for a good 14 hours, and the scope held up without needing a recharge. I also played around with the custom reticle feature. Being able to design and upload my own reticle added a personal touch to the experience. The dual-stream video capability meant I could live-stream to my phone while recording in high definition on the scope itself.All in all, the X-Sight 5 3-15x is a fantastic piece of gear. Not crazy about the display, not as clear as my X-Sight 4 pro 5-20 or seems that way. Also, mussing the app ATN Connect - I like making my connection to my phone and sharing while in the field. I do like the size and functionality - lite and fits well on my 30-30.

There are a lot of options to sort through on this scope. Initial setup has a bit of a learning curve. It doesn't necessarily ship with the latest firmware. Once the Initial setup is complete it works well. The only slight complaint is the button responsiveness, sometimes it takes multiple presses of the same button to select an item on the menu or zooming in.

I love the scope, I have shot it from my 300blk and crossbow and it is amazing, the one shot zero is so easy to get to where you want it to be. The night vision is outstanding, very impressed. The only negative is that the app for the Gen 5 is not released yet so I can not connect to the app to set profiles and mirror the scope, ATN need to get the app out soon as it is mentioned in all of the scope manual and literature, a bit premature selling a product with no IT support.
